Epic Adventures – Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
Epic Adventures is committed to providing unique, immersive, and hassle-free travel experiences in different destinations within and outside India. These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with us and define the rights and responsibilities of both parties. By booking a trip with Epic Adventures, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these policies.
2. Booking & Payments
- To confirm a booking, a 50% advance payment is required. The balance must be paid at least 7 days before departure.
- For last-minute bookings (less than 7 days before the trip), 100% payment is required.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or other accepted methods specified at the time of booking.
- Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellation by Traveler:
- More than 30 days before departure: 90% refund of the advance.
- 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund of the advance.
- Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
- No refund will be initiated if the places which are mentioned as (if time permits) are not covered during the trip because of limited time.
- Cancellation by Epic Adventures:
- If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
- If cancellation occurs due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, government restrictions), we will refund only unutilized services.
4. Travel & Health Requirements
- Travelers must be in good health and disclose any medical conditions that might affect their participation.
- Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover unforeseen medical emergencies, cancellations, or lost baggage.
- Permits may be required for certain locations (e.g., Arunachal Pradesh). We assist in obtaining permits, but the responsibility to carry necessary documents rests with the traveler.
5. Responsibility & Liability
- Epic Adventures acts as an intermediary between travelers and service providers (hotels, transport, guides, etc.). While we ensure quality service, we are not liable for delays, accidents, or losses beyond our control.
- We are not responsible for personal injury, loss of belongings, or cancellations caused by third parties.
6. Conduct & Ethics
- As we operate in ecologically sensitive areas, we expect travelers to respect local culture, wildlife, and environmental ethics.
- Littering, disrespecting local customs, or any disruptive behavior may result in immediate termination of the trip without refund.
7. Special Requests & Customizations
- We accommodate dietary preferences and other special requests where possible, but we cannot guarantee availability in remote areas.
- Custom itineraries are available for private groups, subject to feasibility and additional costs.
8. Force Majeure
Epic Adventures is not liable for changes or cancellations due to unforeseen events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or pandemics. In such cases, we will provide the best alternative solutions but cannot guarantee refunds.
9. Changes to Itinerary
- We reserve the right to alter itineraries based on safety concerns, weather, or local conditions.
- In case of minor adjustments, no refunds will be provided. Significant changes will be communicated in advance.
